MIDDLE SCHOOL: Edna Brewer Middle School
Edna Brewer is a 6th to 8th grade middle school. We have a wonderfully diverse population representing the City of Oakland. We are a learning community of staff, parents and students with shared goals. We diligently work towards creating and maintaining an engaging, safe, and meaningful place for our students and staff. We stand strong behind our objective to prepare every Brewer student for academic success. We work to provide an environment that promotes individual growth. Staff and administration work on making decisions based on student data and information.
HIGH SCHOOL: Oakland High School
Oakland High School plans and organizes all educational efforts around our Expected Student Learning Results (ESLRs), which set our students on a path of being engaged citizens and life-long learners.

At Yellow House every day is different, but, in many ways, are exactly the same. Our program is rich with language arts and math activities, but bolstering those skills is not our main focus. Our primary goal is to create a warm, stimulating and safe space where children can develop their social skills.
